You can see four main benefits from having a successful Facebook Fan page:
- Keeping your Customers (Happy): the easiest sale you can make is the one you don’t have to sell all over again. You can use Facebook to help ensure that your customers don’t leave in the first place.
- Converting Prospects Into Customers: you can take those people that are curious about your business, hesitant or just unwilling to switch providers (or even hire anyone) and incentivize them to take a chance on you.
- Increased Frequency/Quantity of Sales: if you have a recurring business model where people do business with you several times a year, you could very well see some benefit in this area by way of education, incentivization and promotions.
- Increased Volume/Quality of Sales: unless you deal with a high specialized field (mortgages, etc), you can do very well here as well, through again, education, incentivization and promotions.
