Treat time like your most valuable asset. Every meeting should have at least a mental agenda and a time limit. Plan goals for every day and week so you stay on track and check in with yourself regularly to see what progress you've made on short and long term goals.

While Easy Mail Merge is a great program as long as you have a good SMTP server. Another option is to subscribe to an online email marketing platform, for example, the ones compared at:

However, using Easy Mail Merge will still be a lot cheaper.

The comma rule has gotten more complex, actually. These days, less is more (although I have a fondness for them and use them all the time). In the sentence example you gave, since the clauses are short and one of them is dependent on the other, you don't need the comma. If they were two independent clauses, you would put the comma before the conjunction. I think. Or maybe it's the other way around. :-D

I feel blessed to have NOT received blast text messages. Let's hope it stays that way. For a networking event, I might be more ok with it. For something that is promoting your business, I would probably feel put off by it.

Laura it was pleasant to meet you yesterday. I 've spent so time tonight looking at your website and I have to say its one of the most interesting business sites I've ever seen.

I checked out what ended up being a video from Fox News about the power of forgiveness. Life is strange sometimes - that article is extremely pertinent in my life right now. I certainly didn't expect to find something like that on your site.

I can now see how "things" on a company site do not have to be directly related to their business. A good piece like refects well on you just for "putting it out there."

Looking forward to meeting again next week.

I understand, and appreciate your POV. The challenge is, I won't always know who believes what, so I do tend to send the requisite "Happy Holidays" cards, but write in my own Merry Christmas line. I don't consider wishing "Merry Christmas" to a non-Christian to be a disrespectful act, nor would I consider being wished a Happy Hanukkah as a non-Jew a sign of disrespect, etc. If the recipient does, then I'm at a loss. All I can say is that I can't surround myself with people that need tip-toeing around. Life is too short to find offense in others' joy.
