Thanks Sara, I always appreciate support in my thought process with this idea. There is no one-size-fits-all internet solution, and I think it's important new businesses are empowered with the knowledge they need to invest wisely. I appreciate your comment. Have a great day! :)

I believe you are on target 100%. We are in strange and constant changing times right now, old methods of brand building are just that, OLD. The simple "marketing 101" strategy of brand consistency and "no better advertising than word of mouth" can be utilized perfectly with the platform you have provided this company. Not to mention providing a successful brand launch that is affordable, something every company is looking for these days and with the proper execution and guidance can be achieved.

As a fellow web designer, I would also have to agree with you in this particular case. The industry they are in leads perfectly into the fact that they should be using Facebook and it is the perfect venue to reach their target clients.

For photography pages in particular, the ability for users to tag themselves and their friends makes this a no brainer for them and they'll build up a great following very fast and have an engaging, ready audience when they finally do launch their site.

Excellent advice and providing them with a solution that will work better for them in the long run, rather than just giving the client what they ask for. :-)

Treat time like your most valuable asset. Every meeting should have at least a mental agenda and a time limit. Plan goals for every day and week so you stay on track and check in with yourself regularly to see what progress you've made on short and long term goals.

While Easy Mail Merge is a great program as long as you have a good SMTP server. Another option is to subscribe to an online email marketing platform, for example, the ones compared at:

However, using Easy Mail Merge will still be a lot cheaper.

The comma rule has gotten more complex, actually. These days, less is more (although I have a fondness for them and use them all the time). In the sentence example you gave, since the clauses are short and one of them is dependent on the other, you don't need the comma. If they were two independent clauses, you would put the comma before the conjunction. I think. Or maybe it's the other way around. :-D
