Big news from Vision Advertising: Julia Becker Collins, former Vice President of Marketing & Operations, has been named Chief Operating Officer. In this new role, Julia will lead all aspects of the company, from developing and directing the marketing plans of clients, to managing the operations of all of Vision Advertising’s staff, to company-wide fiscal management, to business development, and beyond.
Leading the Company to Success
For more than two years, Julia has been leading Vision Advertising alongside CEO, Laura DiBenedetto, to push the company forward. If Vision Advertising was a wheel, Julia would be the hub on which everything turns. Julia has led the agency to grow exponentially in the past year through the acquisition of multiple new clients, three new employees, and an office relocation to Westborough, MA. In 2018, Vision Advertising was named a top ten marketing agency in the Worcester Business Journal’s Book of Lists, an amazing accomplishment as a premier B2B and B2C resource in the MetroWest, Boston, and New England area.
2019 and Beyond
Under Julia’s leadership, she has steered Vision Advertising in a clear direction of who the company is as it enters its 20th year in business. “I’m proud to continue to lead this dynamic company forward and to now represent our team as Chief Operating Officer,” said Julia. “I’m eager to continue the momentum and focus on the growth of my team, the company, and our clients.”
After 19 years of successful leadership as CEO, Laura DiBenedetto retired from her full-time role, effective December 12, 2018. “Julia has a fire inside of her that I find inspirational,” said Laura. “She has an unwavering dedication to Vision Advertising’s clients, and she brings a level of organization and leadership to the company that continues to impress me daily.” Laura will remain as CEO and provide support on a consultancy basis, no longer working on the day-to-day business operations.
