Like for most businesses, 2021 for Vision has been adjusting to the new normal – everything from how we’re running our business to the changing demands of our clients. That’s why it’s so good to see that some things never change – namely the Worcester Business Journal releasing another Book of Lists for Central Massachusetts and seeing us for a fourth consecutive year as a top marketing agency! Let’s look back at what’s happened this last year and how much these awards mean to us.
What the Book of Lists Is and Why It Matters
The Worcester Business Journal has been publishing the Book of Lists for over 20 years now, a snapshot of the state of the economy and business each year. And just like it hasn’t been for us, 2021 is no ordinary year for the book and the companies it represents. Not only is it a chilling reminder of all the businesses we’ve lost since 2019, but also how we’ve come together as a community to try and help the most vulnerable. This year is also the second year the WBJ included women-owned, veteran-owned, and LGBTQ-owned business categories, as well as labor unions for better representation – and yes, we’re in there as well!

How This Year Has Been for Vision Advertising
It’s been a good year for Vision. After fighting for PPP funding and having our COO Julia Becker Collins in treatment for Thyroid Cancer, the end of 2020 and all of 2021 has been expansion. Beyond building up our client base with additional coaching and hush-hush services currently in beta, Julia has been on a podcast and webinar circuit, including a return of Vision Bootcamps. Thanks again to the WBJ for highlighting Vision as a top marketing agency and women-owned business in this year’s Book of Lists. We’re always looking to improve and be worthy of these accolades. If you’re looking to work with a marketing agency proud to be in Central Mass and committed to helping clients, contact us. We’d love to talk.
